The Bayhawks start off the final week of the regular season with a 88-72 win over Quinsigamond Community College on Tuesday night. The night started off with sophomore night, as the athletics department recognized seven sophomores who will play in their final home game at Bristol.
One of those sophomores is Jerell Gomes, who netted a game high 25 points on the night. Gomes was closely followed by teammate Jeremiah Ephraim, who added 23 points. Sophomore Josh Nelson contributed 11 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.
The Bayhawks are looking to hold onto second place as they head into their final two regular season games. The top two finishers in Region XXI receive a bye to the semi-final games of the Region XXI Tournament.
Men's basketball heads to Bunker Hill Community College on Thursday for a 5:00 PM tip-off.
