Esports Update

As the semester comes to a close, so too does our first season of Bristol Esports.  Your Bayhawks made the college and community proud through their dedication, perseverance, and Bayhawk GRIT.  Your Rocket League team, helmed by team captain Wyatt Estudante, finished the season 6-2 after facing a tough schedule against schools from all over the country including Washington, Utah, and New York just to name a few.  They look forward to returning in the spring where they will once again enter the NJCAAe National Tournament.  Meanwhile, your League of Legends team, led by team captain Sebastian Wassmer, ended their season 3-5, coming in 3rd place in our Region XXI League where they faced teams from other MA community colleges. With the league expanding for the Spring semester, the team is excited to come back and take on new challenges. Intramural Esports continues to expand and improve. We are working with student leaders to make the program more accessible and rewarding for our almost 50 registered participants!  Bristol Esports is growing fast with plans to add more offered titles and teams for our students this spring.  Keep an eye on the Bayhawks Athletics website, twitter, and facebook for more updates!  Don't forget to follow us on twitch to watch our live games!  For more information about our esports program contact kieran.murray@bristolcc.edu.
